It's my second carbon shinai; it doesn't feel exactly like a bamboo one but for those of us having a busy day job to keep with it, it saves a lot of shinai maintenance time!

I've gone through many shinais over ten years. As a woman of medium build and height, I am able to use 38 and 39 shinai and when trying to piece together broken shinai, it's difficult to find good pieces that match. I was getting tired of having to rebuild shinai or buying a new one.
Even though carbon graphite shinais are expensive, I thought that it would be a good investment for someone who practices a lot and breaks a lot of shinai. Now, I can use it for practice and make sure that I have good bamboo shinai for tournaments.
