TOUSHIN is a deluxe Keichiku Shinai, which features a balanced 'Dou' section similar to our basic practice Shinai. In addition to its excellent balance, TOUSHIN also has an oval-grip, which makes gripping the Shinai correctly easy, and gives a similar feel to a real Japanese sword.
Each TOUSHIN Shinai is made from a single bamboo plant, which provides the four slats with the best flexibility and durability.

Best oval shinai

I’ve tried several other brands of oval handle and these have been the best in craftsmanship and durability. This is my second order of these shinai, as my first order of three shinai lasted two years of weekly use.
