Replacing our original summer time best-seller, the AquaMesh Kendogi, we are proud to present the AquaMesh BLUE JAY!
This Kendogi has been especially developed using modern fabric to be lightweight, comfortable and cool for use during those hor summer months and intense training sessions. Unlike cotton'summer'Kendogi, AquaMesh wicks sweat away from your skin, allowing it to evaporate quickly so you won`t feel weighed down even as the practice progresses.
The AquaMesh BLUE JAY is extra light, soft, and slightly stretchy, ensuring freedom of movement and keeping you feeling comfortable throughout training! Improving further upon the original AquaMesh, and even our AquaMesh Hanabishi, the AquaMesh BLUE JAY features a more pronounced weave texture with a matte finish and color so similar to our traditional, single-layer cotton Kendogi they appear near identical.
Finally, this Kendogi can be washed like any other regular item of clothing. No need to worry about colours leaking, or the garment itself fading or shrinking! Hang it out, and it's dry in no time, meaning you can even use it for daily practice- with washes in-between!

Tiene muy bonita vista, es muy ligero y seca muy rápido. En lo personal me acalora más que el tradicional, pienso que debo acostumbrarme.

Seems durable, already tossed it into the washing machine a couple of times and it keeps good.
If you wash it overnight usually by next morning it would be dry even in cold weather. I did unfortunately chose the size wrong (my fault) should've chosen size 2.5 as I'm 1.63.com BUT nevertheless it does fit well not tight. I'm thinking in also getting his counterpart the Hanabishi as well because of the quality and it really feels LIGHT. I wear a sports bra underneath and even if it's neon colored it won't show up. Loved it!

It fits right! It's really LIGHT but seems durable.
Since I don't use a dryer for my uniform, this will obviously dry up faster than my regular cotton one, specially in winter season.
Thanks AJB :)

I bought this Kendogi intended as an upgrade from the renown Hanbishi Kendogi. Compared to it BlueJay has a nice fabrique which almost feels like a cotton gi due to the weave structure. However, at the same time it's VERY thin, so that if held against the light you can see through it. Something the Hanabishi definitely does better.
In terms of the actual feel on the skin the Hanabishi Kendogi is once again better as it feels more natural. Maybe it's just personal preference but I'd never train with BlueJay in average heated gyms. The fabrique is just too thin to keep me warm, but in very hot regions this might be an advantage.
Verdict: Thicker Hanabishi for practice throughout the seasons and BlueJay for very hot climates or gyms
