The keiko-gi comfortable to wear, be best one I had so far. The hakama is so well done, it basically folds it self.

Overall this kendogi and hakama set is great for the price.
I consider the material and craftsmanship excellent quality for the price. Sometimes new indigo kendo wear has a purple tint, but this set is a beautiful dark blue.
The only issues I've found pertain to sizing.
I am a little under 178cm tall (5'10") and the size 27 hakama has a perfect length. That said I hemmed the shorter himo by about 10cm so that they tucked in properly. As the hakama came, the himo were too long after tying the front box knot, and were difficult to tuck away nicely (they could reach around to the opposite side of my back.) With my alteration they are just right.
Using the same sizing guidelines I got a size 4 kendogi. After a cold water wash and hang drying, the sleeves and overall length are good, but I feel like a slimmer cut would be better. With the length of the hakama himo and the cut of the kendogi I feel like this is optimized for someone with a heavier build. I might have opted for a 3.5 size kendogi if I could have tried on multiple sizes. I weigh about 155lbs so my build is fairly average for my height.
Additionally, I found it necessary to shift the inner kendogi ties up about 50mm. Their original placement had them underneath the hakama himo, so the knot was a painful pressure point on my hip until I made this alteration. That factor probably varies quite a bit by your build.
Overall I do really love this set. It's dignified looking, and feel very well made. I've had minimal dye leaking from the kendogi after soaking and rinsing in cold water several times. I haven't washed the hakama, and definitely have blue legs after keiko, but it's gotten better in just a couple weeks of use.
I would definitely recommend this set, but some may find a couple simple alterations necessary for the hakama and kendogi to feel and fit their best.

I want to use it all the time!
It's so elegant that, if you throw a haori on top, it could well be used as a formal dress.
It is also very comfortable. The texture of the jacket feels very nice in the skin.
I highly recommend this Gi & Hakama combo.
